CAPTURE YOUR WEDDING DAY perfectly
FAQs
Will it be a problem if my venue is dark or my reception is taking place at night?
While we do prefer as much light as possible, we are equipped with professional lighting equipment to compensate for dimly lit venues. Our cameras have low light capabilities that enable us to take photos in situations where we may not be allowed to use flash.
What is the total number of images I can expect to receive?
Will you visit my venue prior to my wedding day?
If we haven't shot a wedding at your location in the past, we can arrange a visit prior to your wedding date to scout for the best photo locations. We prefer to visit your venue approximately 2 weeks prior to your wedding, at around the same time your ceremony will be so that we can get a realistic idea of lighting. Many couples choose to have their engagement session at their venue as well. If so, this is an ideal way to us become familiar with you and your venue.
When is the best time to schedule my engagement session?
How soon after my wedding will I be able to view my photos?
Your digital proofs will be available 4-6 weeks after the wedding. I carefully sift through all of the photos form your wedding day, categorizing them by chapters of your day. I then do basic retouching on your images, which include skin tone adjustments, highlights, sharpening and contrast. Within 2-3 days of your wedding you will receive a highlight video with the "Best Of" images set to music as a sneak peak of what's to come!
When should we take our bridal party photos?
This depends on whether you want to see each other prior to the ceremony. If not, you may want to take photos seperately with the bridesmaids and groomsmen and then take group photos after the ceremony. The rest of your wedding part, those not required for family photos, can then go straight to cocktail hour and mingle with your other guests. If you opt for a First Look, the formal photos may be taken before your ceremony.
How much time should we set aside for formal portraits?
We will accommodate your schedule. Ideally, 30-45 minutes for bridal party and family portraits and 15-20 minutes dedicated solely to the couple.
Should we provide you with a meal on the day of our wedding?
Yes, please. We would request that you let the venue know we will eat at the same time you do. This allows us to continue covering your event and not miss important moments.
How far in advance should we book you?
Couples typically book us 12-18 months in advance. With intimate weddings, couple tend to book us a few months in advance.

How do you photograph our "First Look"?
Some wedding couples prefer to see each other when the bride first walks down the aisle. Other couples choose to make that moment more intimate, in what has come to be called their "First Look". We work with you in selecting the perfect time and place on your wedding day and are in the perfect position to capture that moment when the groom first sets his eyes on his future partner.
Do we need an engagement session?
In a word, yes! We typically schedule these sessions to occur months before the wedding day. There are so many benefits realized from engagement sessions, including: we learn how to best capture the couple; the couple has amazing images of themselves (separate from their wedding day in wedding attire); the couple has photos that can be on display at their wedding for all to see; and some couples uses images from their engagement session for their Save-The-Dates. The engagement session allows us to get to know each other in the best way possible prior to the wedding.
